The meaning behind TFY90

People work out for many different reasons. Some people are training for a specific sport, to be able to lift heavier weight, to achieve a personal best in a race, or to look and feel better. All of these reasons are great motivators, but we believe the biggest motivator of all, and one that applies to everyone, is improving health for both the short term and the long term.

Currently, there is about a 12.4 year gap between healthspan and lifespan in the United States. This means that, on average, we spend the last 12.4 years of our lives dealing with chronic health conditions that limit our ability to do the things we want to do and enjoy our lives. Though these are the statistics, we as individuals are able to control some of the key variables that influence our risk for developing chronic diseases. Lifestyle choices like exercise, nutrition, sleep quality and quantity, and social interaction have all been found to impact our healthspan and lifespan. Additionally, making changes to lifestyle choices even after developing a chronic condition has been shown to help manage these conditions and improve quality of life. At TFY90, we want to focus on the controllable factors and help to set you up for more healthy and happy years.

Whether you are currently healthy without a chronic condition, or have an existing diagnosis, we will work with you to develop a safe and appropriate exercise program to address your lifelong goals.
